Here are my questions from Tara:
1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I don't remember a time when I didn't want to be a teacher. Both my parents taught and that's the life I always knew. I love seeing that "lightbulb" go off in a student's eyes when they finally understand a concept!
2. What skill would you like to learn?
That's a tough one. Knitting has always intrigued me. I learned how to crochet in elementary school, but Mom wouldn't teach me how to knit - she didn't think she was good enough at it! Sometimes I feel like I have too many hobbies already, though, so I'm OK not ever learning how to knit. So instead, even though I already crochet, I would love to learn how to crochet doilies.
3. What is your favorite season?
I know I'm supposed to pick one and only one; however, in the winter I get to play in the snow, in the spring I get to take pictures of spring flowers, in the summer I get to run outside in shorts, and in the fall I get to take walks and step on crunchy leaves. So, in conclusion, I like them all!
4. What is your favorite t.v. series (past or current)?
Big Bang Theory! I'm a math geek and Grizz is an engineer... we can relate a lot to that show :)
5. If calories didn't exists what food would you eat all the time?
ICE CREAM! But wait, I already eat it all the time... does that still count as an answer? :)
6. What was the first book you remember really liking?
Definitely the Laura Ingalls Wilder series - the entire series - including the ones about her daughter and her mom, grandma, great-grandma, etc. Many of the main books are set in a town about 30 minutes away from where I grew up and the town that I went to school was actually mentioned in The Long Winter. So fun.
7. What is your favorite time of day?
Morning. Grizz will just shake his head at me when I say it though, since too often, I find it hard to roll out of bed, but mornings are beautiful and relaxing when I do get up and enjoy it!
8. What was your first job?
I worked at a grocery store for a while during college. Nothing too exciting there.
9. What was your favorite birthday?
I still have pictures from my 5th grade birthday party and they make me laugh every time I look at them. Giggling girls. Nerf Guns. Stuffed Animals. Cake and Pop. Good times :)
10. What was your worst cooking disaster?
Too many to list! Ever since moving out here to the Big Sky country, I've been having lots of difficulty with bread - even in the bread machine. Everything comes out too heavy. Still working on solutions to that!
11. What is your favorite color?
PURPLE! When I was younger, my rationale for my favorite color was because it was a mix of my actual two favorite colors - blue and red. Still loving purple and love the color combo of it with green (wedding colors!)
