Two Wins

Giveways are so fun... you enter and you enter and cross your fingers that hopefully you'll win something. Well, I'm finally getting around to sharing two wins I've won "lately." :)

 Crafty Cupboard was celebrating ONE MILLION page views of her blog. I'm like just over 8,000 (mostly because of family... thanks for reading everyone!) so I can't even imagine what it's like to have that many page views - well worth celebrating! She celebrated for an entire week with guest posts and giveaways.

 I won the package from Maniacal Material Girls. It was three fat quarters and a yard of the stripe. She also sent me a wrapping paper cutter - she uses one to cut the threads as she chain stitching patchwork! I can't wait to create something with this. I think it would be a cute quilt with some red and cream solids thrown in.

 My other win was from way back in May during Sew, Mama, Sew's giveaway week. Bloggers around the world link up giveways so you can just click over to hundreds of giveaways and enter them all.

 I focused on entering those that focused on fabrics and sewing supplies. I won Le Petite Cardinal Rouge's giveaway of a variety of vintage sheet scraps.

I've already cut them into 5" squares and put some together for a baby quilt for a friend. I can't wait to show you!
