A Tin For Some Elastic

I stopped by a vintage/antique/misc shop the other day and saw a tin. It had flowers on the side and a knob on top for easy lifting of the lid. I talked myself out of buying it (envision sad face). Well, when I got home, I was looking around all my sewing/craft stuff and decided that my elastic needed a home (putting them all in a mason jar just wasn't cutting it - my hand barely fits in one!)

So, I went back to the shop a few days later, my heart set on that tin. Well, it was gone. (envision a very sad face). I walked around some more and found this one.

I love this one too (although it doesn't have a knob on the lid!). It is perfect for a sewing room since the design is mimicking cross stitch. Isn't it fun!?

So, my goodies... my sewing suitcase, my notions hat box, my elastic tin and my button jar. (Please envision a smiling face!)
